Contribute to and improve on the operation of a quality assurance system

Conduct audits of quality assurance systems
Make recommendations to enhance quality assurance systems
Write work instructions
Identify statistical outputs, record and report data to aid decision making
Conduct product tests

Perform statistical process control

Plan and prepare for performing statistical process control
Measure process parameters and collate process data
Plot statistical process control charts
Compare process data against process limits and identify trends
Consider possible process corrections and make recommendations
Identify problems and take corrective action
Apply quality checks on completed work
Complete and process applicable documentation
Evaluate implementation of recommendations made
Discuss and explain incidents and problems relating to statistical process control

Maintain the quality assurance system

Monitor quality assurance in area of responsibility
Monitor the adherence to quality assurance standards and procedures by team members
Maintain quality documentation and instruments
Evaluate quality procedures, identifying areas of concern and suggest improvements
Develop and adapt quality procedures to address quality problems and/or meet changing requirements
Compile reports on quality assurance issues in area of responsibility
