Moderation Services

Moderation is generally defined as staying within reasonable limits that are not excessive or extreme and avoiding. In the context of day to day business, moderation could refer to the practice of monitoring submissions and applying a set of rules which define what is acceptable and what is not. Unacceptable content is then removed. Moderation is thus not just limited to education and training, but to all aspects of business that needs governance. Due to the nature and background of our employees we are able to act as “moderators” on a variety of business principles / aspects. We offer our Moderator Expertise to quality assure and control training and development with providers of Training and Education as we have four fully trained OD ETDP practitioners that have been endorsed by the ETDP SETA on qualification 50331.

We however use the Microsoft Office Project 2003 programme to run our projects with an expected time span of more than 7 days.At ASORIP, we know that Risk / Quality Management is essential for the survival of any company. “Risk” is usually associated with the negative consequences of potential loss. Effective risk management provides greater competitive advantage through more stable operations, and improved compliance and governance.  Effective risk management enhances constituency confidence and trust. “Risk management can be defined as the identification and evaluation of actual and potential risk areas as they pertain to the company as a total entity followed by a process of either termination, transfer, acceptance (tolerance) or mitigation of each risk. Risk management is thus a process that utilises internal controls as one of the measures to mitigate the control risk.In other words, after identifying risks, the impact of such risks are measured, and then, depending on management’s propensity for risk taking, a decision is made on whether to decline the risk (if this is possible), mitigate it (once again where possible), accept it without further actions (if it is unavoidable), or manage it actively.”

Company Description / Accreditation

ASORIP serves as a private training institution supporting the principles of democracy which grant everybody the right to a better education; thus we aim to help address the gap that currently exists between the South African Government’s skills development goals and the successful implementation of these goals in industry to create a skilled workforce and economic growth.  The founding members realized that it was vital that companies, small and big, should realize that they need to build a sustainable development platform for the communities in which they operate.
