1. SCOPE

Qualifying learners are able to:

• Identify the needs and concerns of customers and advise customers to optimise choice and benefits. • Establish rapport with prospective customers. • Establish and confirm the customers’ needs and interest in relation to the product/service. • Advise the customer on options based on identified needs. • Give customer the opportunity to fully investigate products/services. • Suggest alternative course of action.

2. PROGRAMME ENTRY REQUIREMENTS / LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE

It is assumed that a learner will be competent in:

• Communication at NQF Level 3 • Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 3.
